Working with an I Profile
Type I personalities are often less inclined to sweat the details. I’s can be chatty and quick thinkers, so they may be on to the next idea before they’ve really heard what the person they’re talking to is saying. It can come across as having a short attention span, but really, these folks are just spontaneous. They need to remember to take their time and listen instead of waiting for their turn to speak.
When working with an I profile, it can be important to have them nail down ideas and concrete steps for action to help them stay organized. I types may not do well with routine, and when carried to an extreme, their approach can take on a hard edge. Type I personalities can be impulsive, emotional, and sensitive. If an I thinks he or she is being rejected, it can lead to insecurity. These are the impressionable folks who DO take it personally.
